Morning Classes
BE JOYFUL — SEEK THE JOY OF BEING ALIVE.
Scale a wall. Sail a course. Pierce a target. Light a fire by friction. With an emphasis on standards of achievement, Kooch-i-ching’s instructional program includes dozens of land and water-based activities for young men of all ages and abilities.
Afternoon ACTIVITIES
PLAY FAIR — FOUL PLAY IS TREACHERY.
In this world of rock and water, of thousands of lakes created by the great glaciers of the last ice age, Kooch-i-ching's magnificent athletic fields may seem incongruous, but in the afternoons they swarm with activity. Be it dodgeball or softball, American Eagle or capture-the-flag, joyful competition at Kooch-i-ching spells quicker reflexes, newfound confidence and an abiding respect for fair play.
EVENING TRADITIONS
SPEAK TRUE — WORD OF HONOR IS SACRED.
Evenings are a special time at Kooch-i-ching, and there are no dull moments. The Preps might enjoy a frog derby or scavenger hunt. For Juniors, pillow fighting brings out the competitive spirit in all. Witch's Broom Ride, a contest of skill and balance, is another favorite. Up on The Point, Seniors might gather in Red Lodge to plan the all-camp barbecue or listen to stories from alumni back from a recent Arctic trip. High on everyone's list are events unique to Kooch-i-ching: Friendship Dance, Little Council, and the pageantry that is Grand Council.
